What IS Plant-Based?
Plant-based refers to a "diet" or lifestyle of eating that focuses on whole, not processed foods with an emphasis on: fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and legumes. People on a plant baed diet do not eat meat, dairy or eggs. They also avoid gluten, sugar, refined vegetable oils, GMO's and msg. Bottom line: If it's processed, its not a whole food.
